Can-am Spyder

It seems world famous celebrity and X Factor creator Simon Cowell knows how to travel in style on three wheels.

Apparently it’s not just multi-million-dollar sports cars that catch the star’s eye, but stunning Can-Am Spyders too.

The multi-millionaire celeb is no stranger to the tabloids but made headlines in UK papers again when he was snapped riding his Can-Am Spyder Roadster (RS) home from the US X Factor studios.

Hollywood husband and wife team Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith are believed to have bought the Can-Am Spyder for Cowell as a gift and he seemed only too happy to take it for a spin from the X Factor HQ in the US.

Unsurprisingly, Cowell is not the only celebrity to love the Can-Am Spyder. Snoop Dog and Jay Leno are also reported to be huge fans, among others.

So, what is it that gives the amazing Can-Am Spyder its celeb appeal?

For many who get bitten by the Can-Am bug, riding a Can-Am – whether it’s a Can-Am Spyder RS, a Can-Am Spyder RT or a Can-Am Commander – is a thrilling, unforgettable experience.

And it’s an experience that’s not just reserved for those with a motorbike licence. The beauty of the Can-Am is that it can be ridden with a car license.

Featuring the very latest technology, the Can-Am allows you to take to the open road in style, comfort and safety.

Stability and handling are no problem when you’re on board a Can-Am. The Can-Am Spyder RS, for example, is built around a Surrounding Spar Technology (SST™) frame, featuring a minimalist steel centre beam, surrounding the engine. This minimises weld points for greater structural integrity.

A five speed gearbox has been created specifically for the Can-Am Roadster, which makes gearing easy, while under the bonnet is the Rotax® 990 V-twin liquid cooled engine. Offering responsive acceleration and a state-of-the-art electronic fuel management system, it adds yet another exciting dimension to the Can-Am. Yet another reason why stars like Simon Cowell have joined the Can-Am worldwide fan club.
